With a society that is constantly trying to make us all equal, how do you stand out? How do you differentiate yourself from others?

Do you know what real differences there are between you and let’s call it a competitor?

For me, I often get asked this question, “what makes you different from others?”

Has that ever been asked of you?

How would you respond if it did?

Here are some tips to help you figure it out if you don’t already know.

👉 Know who your target market is.

👉 Know what offerings you can bring to them.

👉 Focus on building your business around the first two.

A generalist is rarely as effective as someone who works a niche market.

How will you serve them. Is it with coaching, mentoring, consulting? Will you do workshops or training? Maybe your abilities allow you to serve as a fractional CEO or COO. (If you want information about that you need follow John Knotts) He has written some fantastic information on this.

So how do I answer the question when I’m asked? Simple.
