Have You Ever Been Stood Up?
Have you ever been stood up?

.
Don’t you just hate it when you schedule a client or prospect meeting and they don’t show?
What is it that causes people to no longer show common courtesy and just call.
I saw a sign at the doctors office once that said “if you are more than 15 minutes late you will be rescheduled.” At first I was like ok I get it. But then, I sat in the room waiting for the doctor for 30 minutes. I guess the sign doesn’t go both ways.
Being late is one thing but standing someone up is just wrong!
👉 It shows a lack of respect for the other person's time.
👉 It can be hurtful and cause disappointment, frustration, and even anger.
👉 It also damages trust and can lead to a breakdown in the relationship if one already exists or delay one from even forming.
It's so simple to pick up the phone, send an email or text and just communicate.
If your organization uses an online scheduling system, like Calendly, your prospect can even cancel and reschedule through their email confirmation. Make it simple for them to do and it might cause you less stress and anxiety.
Things happen, but common courtesy should never go away.
Go make a difference today!
