Do You Despise Sales?

Sales

Do you despise sales?
.
.
.
I’ve talked with thousands of people over my lifetime, and if I had a dollar for every time someone said “I am not a salesperson, no way I could do that,” I would be able to pay off the National Debt.

Seriously though, we are ALL sales people in a way. People don’t consider what it means to sell.

Let me ask you a few questions:

👉 Do you like to help people.

👉 Do you like to solve problems.

👉 If you get bad service does it eat at you?

👉 Are you married or in a relationship?

You see, most people have a negative connotation of sales. They immediately thing of slimy, non caring, con-artist type of sales. While I will agree, there are some you talk to and immediately want to strip down and take a shower like you were exposed to radiation, but that is not the norm.

Here are some ways to change your mindset about your sales ability.

➡️ Change two letters! You are NOT selling you are Helping. (Remember you said you liked to help people )

➡️ While helping you are solving a problem that the prospect has. (Again you like solving problems)

➡️ Always do what’s right and treat the prospect with respect and kindness. (This helps fix bad customer service)

➡️ Look in the mirror and laugh. (If you have convinced someone to be with you…..you can sell)

Sales really is nothing more than helping people find the solution to a problem or need that they have. Go on, give it a try. You never know how much you might enjoy it.
