I know, it depends, 75% of what?

75% of the population that have a fear of public speaking.

Communication is an essential part of our daily lives, and learning to speak effectively is a critical part of all communication.

Not to mention the significant benefits in both our personal and professional lives.

👉 It can build strong relationships with family and friends.

👉 It enables us to express our thoughts, feelings, and ideas more clearly and effectively.

👉 It can lead to less confusion and misunderstandings.

👉 It can lead to more confidence in social situations which can enhance our self-esteem.

In business, speaking well could help set you apart in a job interview or close a business deal, as well as making a significant difference in how you are perceived by others.

Those who can articulate their ideas, speak confidently, and communicate effectively are often the first ones to be considered for promotions, and advancement.

One of the greatest benefits that I can think of though, is that when you learn to speak well, it increases your ability as a leader.

A leader who has trouble speaking is bound to face difficulties in directing their team. They may not be able to understand the goals and objectives of the organization effectively. While a leader that speakers well can effectively motivate their team and share the goals and vision with ease.

I believe it is extremely beneficial to invest your time and effort in developing your speaking skills. There are many ways you can do this. One way is by practicing, seeking feedback, and learning from others. I do this through an organization called Toastmasters International.
