What Does Your Brain Focus On?

What does your brain focus on?

Science has proven that what we focus on can in fact become our reality.

Self- Affirmation, self-talk, self-perception, whatever you choose to call it, it’s real.

Over forty years ago, I discovered a self-affirmation that I have used everyday since. I taught my children this “mantra” and have watched how it changed their life as well.

If you are not a person of faith, and are uncomfortable reciting the name of God, feel free to omit it. But this is the version I use.

👉 Today, is the first day of the rest of my life. God has given me this day, to use as I will. I can waste it, or use it for good, but what I do today is important because I’m exchanging a day of my life for it.

👉 When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever leaving in it's place something that I have traded for it.
👉 I want it to be gain and not loss, good and not evil, success and not failure, in order that I shall not regret the price that I have paid.

👉 So I will try, just for today, for I will never fail until I stop trying.

There are thousands of other self-affirmations that are available.

Remember, these do not replace proper business planning. Planning out your successes and failures is critical.

You can however control your thoughts. You can chose to focus on good. You can think thoughts of success.

During the Vietnam war, many P.O.W.’s used self-affirmation to survive.
