Caveat Emptor

Caveat Emptor

Is profit a dirty word?
.

.
My short answer - maybe.

I say that because it depends on what you do to achieve it.

👉 Are you cutting corners?

👉 Are you breaking the law?

👉 Are you scamming your clients?

👉 Basically are you being moral, ethical, and doing everything with integrity?

Achieving profit by 3 out of 4 of those ways is wrong, making profit a dirty word.

See, only one of those questions should have been answered with a yes! (Hint, it’s the last one)

There is NOTHING WRONG with profit, it’s how you obtain it that matters.

More often than not, businesses use Caveat Emptor as their mission statement.

I think a lot of the issues have to do with a part of their lives that receive little attention. We focus on “work-life” balance but rarely include our spiritual heath to the degree it should be.
